Healthy Options at the Pool

When the sun shines, everyone loves spending a day at the pool. Spending a full day outside means you need snacks to take care of your appetite built up swimming. Instead of spending money on unhealthy snacks at a concession stand, try these options that your family is sure to love:
  • Fruit Kabobs – Add a rainbow of assorted fruit to a few skewers and store in a bag
  • Frozen fruits/vegetables – Frozen peas/corn are a great snack on a hot day.
  • Trail Mix – add together walnuts, almonds, raisins, and a high-fiber cereal for an easy snack.
  • Fruit and Cheese
  • Tuna salad
  • Popcorn
  • Frozen Yogurt Sticks
